Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny)

Saju, meaning "four pillars," is the Korean system of Four Pillars destiny analysis. It analyzes destiny through eight characters—two each for year, month, day, and hour of birth—using the Ten Heavenly Stems and Twelve Earthly Branches. Each pillar represents different life aspects: year for ancestors and social image, month for parents and career, day for self and spouse, hour for children and later life. The interaction of five elements across these pillars reveals personality, destiny patterns, and timing.
