Moolatrikona

Each planet has a Moolatrikona zone within one of its own signs: Sun in Leo (0-20°), Moon in Taurus (4-20°), Mars in Aries (0-12°), Mercury in Virgo (16-20°), Jupiter in Sagittarius (0-10°), Venus in Libra (0-15°), Saturn in Aquarius (0-20°). While exaltation represents peak elevation, Moolatrikona represents optimal function — a planet working efficiently in its natural domain. In the dignity hierarchy: Exaltation > Moolatrikona > Own Sign > Friendly > Neutral > Enemy > Debilitation.

Moolatrikona planets work productively and reliably. They may not have the peak power of exaltation but deliver consistent, practical results.
