Jong-Gyeok (Follow-the-Leader)

Jong-Gyeok is an extreme chart structure where one element dominates so completely that minority elements surrender their energy to the dominant force.

What is Jong-Gyeok (Follow-the-Leader)?

Jong-Gyeok occurs when one element reaches 80% or more of the chart's total elemental weight and minority elements lack root support in the Earthly Branches. In this structure, the weak Day Master cannot resist the dominant element and 'follows' it instead. The stems of minority elements are treated as if they belong to the dominant element for Ten God calculations. This fundamentally changes how the chart is read—what would normally be an enemy becomes an ally.

How TriAstra Uses Jong-Gyeok (Follow-the-Leader)

TriAstra detects Jong-Gyeok charts and applies element overrides, recalculating Ten Gods using effective elements rather than raw stems. This produces accurate readings for extreme-dominance charts like Gasaek-Gyeok.

What Jong-Gyeok (Follow-the-Leader) Means for You

If you have a Jong-Gyeok chart, fighting the dominant element brings misfortune. Success comes from flowing with the dominant force rather than resisting it.
