Ilju Archetype (Day-Pillar Archetype)

The Ilju (日柱) is the combined Day Stem + Day Branch from the sixty-Ganzhi cycle (Gap-Ja through Gye-Hae) and is Saju's most condensed expression of 'me'. Each of the sixty Iljus carries a distinct disposition, vocational aptitude, relationship pattern, and health tendency. The Ilju archetype is not merely a zodiac-style classification — it's the blueprint of how you operate, generated by the Day Stem (a Heavenly Stem with element + yin/yang polarity) bonded with the Day Branch (an Earthly Branch with element, hidden stems, and Twelve Life Stages). Modern Korean Saju lineages (Park Jae-wan, Park Cheong-hwa) treat it as one of the most-used clinical diagnostic tools, distinct from the Seong-Gyeok (personality from Ten-God dominance) framework.
