Ashtakavarga

Ashtakavarga is a Vedic scoring system where eight factors contribute points to each sign, revealing strengths across the zodiac.

What is Ashtakavarga?

In Ashtakavarga, seven planets plus the Ascendant contribute benefic points (Bindus) to each of the 12 signs, based on their positions from each other. Each sign receives 0-8 points from each contributor. Signs with high totals (28+ out of 48) are strong for the chart; low totals (below 25) indicate weakness. Sarvashtakavarga shows the total picture; individual planet Ashtakavargas show where each planet is strong.

How TriAstra Uses Ashtakavarga

TriAstra uses Ashtakavarga to determine transit effectiveness—transits through high-Bindu signs produce stronger results than those through low-Bindu signs.

What Ashtakavarga Means for You

Your high-Bindu signs are where transiting planets deliver the best results. When Jupiter or Saturn transit these signs, expect more noticeable positive outcomes.
